Quest Gel

| Virtually every horse that has ever set a hoof in a pasture is infected with small
strongyles, the most common and costly equine internal parasite today.* These tiny invaders “encyst” inside the intestinal wall, where they can remain for months or even years at a time. When large numbers of encysted larvae emerge all at once, they can cause diarrhea, severe weight loss, colic, fever and even death. |
|
Only QUEST® Gel (moxidectin) kills encysted small strongyles in one dose, before they emerge and harm your horse. Older dewormers like ivermectin (Zimecterin®, Equimectrin™) are not effective against small strongyles at this critical stage of infection. Another dewormer compound, fenbendazole (Panacur®/Safe-Guard®) cannot kill encysted small strongyles in a single dose.
QUEST also controls stomach worms, roundworms, bots, and a broad spectrum of other common parasites. In fact, if your adult horse suffers disease caused by any internal parasite species (with the exception of tapeworms and coccidia), you will get 4 times your money back. See 4X Guarantee for details.
What’s more, QUEST works up to twice as long as ivermectin to prevent the reappearance of strongyle eggs on pasture – 84 days of protection versus 42 (see package insert).
Safety studies have shown QUEST to be safe and effective in horses and foals four months of age and older. The Sure-Dial™ syringe makes it easy to give your horse the right dose for its weight. And the unique gel formulation makes deworming easy on both of you.
