This is a low leverage bit for horses that don't require as much leverage to maintain control or incorporate correction. The pressure on their nose and jaw offers rate and collection. The gag helps the rider to laterally control the horse's nose, neck, and spine.

The sweet six competition series helps move a horse into the bridle while still offering direct control for lateral suppleness and curb for longitudinal collection. The twisted mouthpiece and dogbone have a lighter and more immediate response. The dogbone offers more even tongue pressure than a traditional two piece snaffle. The curb design allows an additional pressure area for control and education. Best used in the the training process with split reins and chain curb.
