Replacing foot wraps every time medication is re-applied can get

body of the Equine Slipper is made of heavy ply cordura and is fastened
to the high grade leather base with a resilient nylon thread. The

The Equine Slipper is as easy
to put on and take off as it looks. The Velcro opening is wide
enough to slip in the hoof. Just tighten the tabs to create a
snug, perfect fit which eliminates any discomfort your horse
may experience with regular foot wraps.

"I purchased an equine slipper from
Kyhorse.com a few weeks ago, and I am so impressed with it I am recommending them to all the vets I know, tack shops, feed stores, and horse owners.
One of my horses foundered severely a year ago...from some unknown cause. He lost one hoof wall, has had recurrent abscesses and infections in both front feet, and it was and still is, necessary to keep his feet bandaged and protected from the ground. I've tried about every type of boot on the market to protect his feet.
The equine slipper is the best thing I have found for him! He still needs hoof protection from the ground while his hooves are growing...forget the duct tape wrappings! He has free access to a paddock, and even in the wet weather and what little snow we had, his bandages stayed dry and he was able to enjoy being a horse outdoors. The other day he was actually running and kicking his heels with the slipper on, and no sores!
It's a great product, and I've tried everything on the market I think. There are alot of horses out there, and people too who should try this for their equine companions. I also think every trail rider should have one in their "emergency kit". Congratulations on a great product! I wish I had known about it a year ago, I would have saved alot of money on duct tape, and alot of time at the barn, and worry.
I think my horse will make a full recovery, and this product will make him alot more comfortable in the process. My thanks for developing something that is soft, padded, pliable, protective and easy to use."
