From A Customer
Wes,
I
just wanted you to know you can add “outdoor shower” to
the list of uses for the HottWash. It is
awesome. We have a barn up the hill from our house and
a pool where the paddock was (the previous owner put the
pool in – the owner before it had a horse, hence the
barn.) Anyway, I had this harebrained idea for an
outdoor shower but we only had cold running up the hill from
the house. The hose bibb is inside the barn, along
with the power. So we just hooked it up in there and
poked a hole through the side of the barn for the hose.
We used this
for the outdoor shower, put it inside a 5’ x 4’ PVC
fence enclosure with a gate for privacy, and put smooth pea
stones under the shower, and around it for drainage.
Works like a charm and looks great too!!
We
turned the shower temp up to the max. YEOW!! It
is HOT!! So there’s a bit of trial-and-error with
the temp, but once you get it set, you have a nice 5 minute
shower. Provided you don’t need it for more than 2
people, or if you can’t wait more than 5-10 minutes
between showers, it works fantastic!! Beats the ice
cream headache showers we used to try to take (and just gave
up on.) Our water line runs uphill so the pressure is
probably less than usual, but an outdoor shower at regular
pressure should probably use a low flow showerhead to make
the hot last longer.
Thanks
again
