This superior quality Hartford Winter Blanket is constructed with a rugged 1000 denier nylon cordura outer shell with a water repelling finish and a 1 1/4 oz. urethane coating on the inside, making this one of the toughest blankets on the market. The 18-oz. Yukon fleece lining provides exceptional loft and warmth even during severe climates. 

Standard with two straight outside surcingles, dee ring for hood, and contoured rump for exceptional fit, comfort and stability.

How to measure your horse for a blanket:

All horse blankets (at least that we know of) are measured as a side measurement which is from the center of the chest to the center of the rump (middle of tail) as shown in the above illustration. That measurement (rounded up to the next even number) is the size of the blanket needed.

More Blanket Options

To make our online ordering process less confusing, the above order form offers the blanket in its basic style with its basic options. You may further customize your blanket by adding the following options.

Closed Front: Instead of the standard open/buckle front, this blanket is available with a closed front that must be slipped over your horse's head.

Neck Options:

	See the dark blue part? This illustrates the STANDARD CUT NECK as shown in item's picture. It fits most horses well, but is specifically designed for narrower chested horses such as Thoroughbreds, Arabians, and Standardbreds. Now, notice the red part of the picture. It illustrates the CUT BACK NECK style. It is designed to fit very large chested horses such as draft breeds.
	This is a CONTOUR NECK. It offers a better fit for Quarter Horses and horses with high withers.
